Hoo boy! John Carpenter’s my favorite director and he is famously a gigantic video game nerd, so I am totally down… Well, kinda down. Sorta. I dunno.

This doesn’t feel very… Carpenteresque? Other than the apocalyptic and body horror themes I mean. The retro goofy tone and title? The non-stop explosions of gore? Eh… I strongly suspect the devs have slapped Carpenter’s name above the title and Carpenter is at home getting stoned in front of the TV. Now that would be Carpenteresque.

But more than anything, it’s co-op multiplayer. I’m sorry, if I wanted to hang out with friends I wouldn’t be playing video games.
